Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the personality of a minor murderer. An analysis of personality traits facilitates improvement of methods used by internal aff airs agencies to combat crime and raises the effi ciency of crime investigation. Information about the criminal's personality helps determine a suspect pool, develop a detention strategy, prevent a crime and exclude some persons from the suspect list. The criminal's personality is the key element of the criminalistic characteristics in an analysis of special aspects of murders committed by minors.
