Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the reasons for participation in fantasy sports for participants in domestic fantasy sports games to grasp the motivation for participation. The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for the motivation of domestic fantasy sports participants, and can provide basic data for establishing a marketing strategy for fantasy sports-related industries. The subjects of this study were 317 questionnaires. This study used SPSS Ver 21.0 for frequency analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results were as follows.<BR> First, correlation analysis was conducted to find out the correlation, and there were a positive correlation on all factors among motivations, game flow, team identification of fantasy sports game participants.<BR> Second, achievement motivation, fantasy, daily escape, and competitive factors of motivations were found to have a positive effect on game flow in fantasy sports games.<BR> Third, fantasy, achievement, and competitive factors were found to have a positive effect on the team identification of professional sports.<BR> Finally, game flow in fantasy sports was found to have a positive effect on the team identification of professional sports.
