Abstract
The article examines the method of determining the economic efficiency of the maritime transport hub (MTH) within the maritime transport industry. The main focus is on adapting the methodology to industry specifics, which leads to the use of indicators such as the amount of untapped capacity, bandwidth utilization, capacity reserve and balance when assessing the effectiveness of MTH. A scheme of economic analysis of the industry efficiency of the MTH on the example of data from one of the ports of the Azov- Black Sea basin has been proposed. A comprehensive system of measures to improve the efficiency of the MTH has been formed, taking into account the interaction of all modes of transport.
