Abstract

In the period of the formation of new social relations, many societies, including Kazakhstan, to one degree or another, are experiencing problems related to a number of pressing goals and objectives that require timely and thorough resolution. One of them is the need to form a new type of cultural identity that would be relevant to the spirit of the times and at the same time preserve the best examples of the heritage of the past. Forming a new type of cultural identity on the one hand, would give an image of the immanent self-reflection of the people of Kazakhstan in their own eyes, and on the other hand, would holistically represent the subjectivity of Kazakhstan as a full participant in the process of world political and intercultural communication. The article is devoted to the ideological understanding of cultural identity, the problem of preserving one’s culture, one’s national code, which contributes to the formation of positive life strategies among young people integrated into the education system. During the study, the works of philosophers, sociologists, and teachers who studied the problems of cultural identity and value orientations are considered. The article offers a number of recommendations for solving the problems of preserving and strengthening the national code.
