Abstract

An analysis of the world literature on approaches to the diagnosis and treat-ment of bone cysts in children, as well as pathological fractures resulting from a decrease in bone strength associated with the thinning of its cortical layer, was carried out. To date, there is not enough clarity about the need to use one or an-other method of treatment, which indicates the relevance of this problem and the need to develop a differentiated approach to managing patients with this pathol-ogy. The main direction in the research and development of the approach is the combination of the puncture method of treatment with steroid injections in com-bination with elastically stable intramedullary reinforcement, which practically excludes the possibility of a pathological fracture, with simultaneous equalization of intracanal pressure and the creation of an additional drainage system using TEN (Titanium Elastic Nail).
