Abstract

Organization theory is considered a branch of management science that seeks to explain the laws of functioning, formation, crisis and development of an organization as a form of social association of people. The fact that special disciplines investigate individual methods of managing an organization and its processes creates certain difficulties: a holistic image of a company, its complex perception in changing conditions often remain behind the scenes. However, in today's rapidly changing environment for the effective management of the organization, the leader should regularly analyze a huge number of factors, both internal and external, in order to be able to observe and take into account the relationships between them. This raises the question of forming a special approach that would allow a holistic look at the organization. This approach becomes a systemic one, which analyzes the organization as a system - a complex of interrelated elements. Moreover, the enterprise as a whole is viewed as an element of a more complex system. The systems approach is quite new, and scientists still cannot fully assess the true impact of this school on the concept and practice of management. Nevertheless, already at the present time it can be noted that its impact is great and, it seems, will increase in the future. This article examines the essence of enterprise management as complex systems in management.
