Abstract
This article is devoted to the problems of improving the level and quality of life of households in the Kyrgyz Republic. The introduction describes the ultimate and main goal of national strategies of almost all countries. Several short definitions of the concepts of "standard of living" and "quality of life" are given. It is noted that these two concepts are not identical. Then there are several key points from the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026, developed on the basis of the National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2040. When working on this article, data from the Annual publication "Living standards of the population of the Kyrgyz Republic 2017 - 2021", developed and published by the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic (2022).
