Abstract
An essay about a fellow museologist, a graduate of Kharkiv University and a senior researcher at the university’s Museum of Nature (MNKU). The researcher worked exclusively and consistently with the mammalian collections of MNKU, inventorying and describing the collections from year to year, analysing their volumes, collectors and unique specimens. He prepared articles on the collections of such groups as Desmana, Chiroptera, Ursidae, Canidae, Dipodoidea, Gliridae, Spalax, and Ungulata, published in professional journals. The researcher took an active part in a number of museological conferences (2007–2019).
