Abstract

The research objective is as follows: to reveal genre specificity of neofolk orchestra concert in the creative work of domestic composers of the second half of the XX century. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that for the first time in domestic musicology the author analyzes neofolk orchestra concert, identifies its typological features, reveals the factors influencing genre structure, examines the little-known works of R. Shchedrin, Y. Falik, V. Peshnyak. As a result, it is shown that neofolk orchestra concert preserves its genre features simultaneously acquiring certain specific qualities associated with genre synthesis and style synthesis.
