Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to newly analyze the meaning and syntactic structure of the ‘gei(給)’ Construction. In general, ‘gei(給)’ in ‘gei(給)’ Construction is regarded only as a grammatical marker. However, considering this ‘gei(給)’ as a verb indicating the event of ‘giving’, and analyzing the phenomenon of being synthesized with the event represented by V, which is combined together, it will be understood that ‘gei(給)’ Construction is still related to the Serial Verb Construction. It will help to grasp the substance of the ‘gei(給)’ Construction.
