Abstract

The paper addresses predicatives from a lexicologist’s perspective. The author comments on the mechanism of their formation, their semantics and the paradigmatic relations they enter into as part of the lexical system of the Old Bulgarian language. She also joins the linguistic discussion concerning the so-called category of state. Last but not least, she addresses the lexicographic representation of predicatives in Palaeo-Slavonic dictionaries.
