Abstract

The article deals with the lexicographic methods adopted in the Bulgarian dictionaries from the beginning of the 20th century. These dictionaries employ an alphabetical-nest arrangement of the words where derivatives are included in the dictionary entries of the words from which they are formed. In addition, the bases of the derivatives are abbreviated. These lexicographic methods are aimed at reducing the number of pages of the dictionaries.
