Abstract
Currently, it is an urgent task to increase the efficiency of the system of access to state secrets through the creation and implementation of modern information technologies. The article proposes an approach to the transition from the conceptual model of the system of access to state secrets to the model of finite automata.
 The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time an approach has been proposed to build an automatic model of the state secret access system based on the IDEF0 model describing the processes occurring in the state secret access system. 
 The practical significance of the research lies in simplifying the construction of a mathematical model of the state secret access system, which can be used to develop an appropriate automated information system.
