Abstract
The article is dedicated to the outstanding legal scholar, Professor Yuri Efremovich Avrutin. March 23, 2022 marks the 75th anniversary of the birth of this outstanding scientist in the field of administrative law. The article tells about interesting points from the communication between the author and Professor Yu.E. Avrutin. The contribution of Professor Yu.E. Avrutin in the development of modern science of administrative law in Russia.
