Abstract

The article analyses the creative work of the Soviet and Chinese masters who created products of small porcelain plastics, dedicated to the children’s theme in their contrastive-comparative aspect. The study aims to identify the national differences and similarities in ideas, plots and themes embodied in the works of interior porcelain sculpture by the Soviet and Chinese masters. The scientific originality of the article lies in the fact that it reveals the peculiarities of developing the art of porcelain interior plastics in the USSR and China during the 1950-1960s. The obtained results showed that the USSR and the PRC developed their own unique artistic language in the depiction of porcelain objects in applied and decorative styles.
