Abstract

Introduction. One of the topical issues in this sphare of education is the professional training of a psychologist as specialist, professional skills that would meet the current challenges of today. The modern higher education system is designed to create the appropriate conditions for the training of a psychologist as a competent specialist, focused on continuous professional development, and, as a result, productive professional activity and self-realization. In addition to successfully mastering the necessary knowledge base and skills in accordance with the specifics of the chosen specialty, it is important to have professionally important qualities and practical skills, which is one of the conditions for readiness for professional activity in the process of its professional adaptation.Purpose.. The analysis of the phenomenon of readiness for professional activity of students-psychologists in the context of their professional adaptation.Methods. Analysis, generalizations, comparisons, systematization of science sources with problems of research.Originality. The state of elaboration of the problem of future psychologists' readiness for professional activity in the context of their professional adaptation is analyzed; further development of scientific ideas about didactic technologies to ensure the readiness of students for professional activity during their studies in higher education. The practical significance of the submitted material is that it can be the basis for the development of psychological and pedagogical tools for students to be prepared for professional activity, taking into account the peculiarities of their adaptation to the future professional activity even during higher education.Conclusion. The research of the whole process of professional training of a specialist psychologist should be considered not only in terms of acquiring professionally important personal qualities, but also in terms of forming readiness for personal and professional social adaptation and, accordingly, for future professional activity. rospective directions of further researches consider studying of the basic ways and means of harmonization of professional and personal aspects of formation of readiness of future psychologists for professional activity, and also psychological conditions of catalyzing of their professional adaptation in the conditions of insufficient life experience.
