Abstract

This study narratively explores the identity of an unmarried father who is raising a child even though he is not his biological child. The researcher approached the narrative inquiry suggested by Clandinin and Connelly(2002) solved various stories that can dismantle the meaning of the child and the blood-centered family along with the difficulty of raising the unmarried child. The collected data were reconstructed in order of time to analyze the placeness, interaction, etc. As a result, 10 themes appeared. The subject is “A woman who is ignorant”, “My life saved from the dangers of abortion”, “Far away from the family and falling into hell”, “Child-up is the father’s hard work”, “Payment of debts that saved a baby’s life”, “The return of a child’s biological mother is not a family reunion but an amplification of disbelief”, “A child’s biological mother who can not break her relationship with a sponsor’s lover poisons her child”, “Education for children’s emotions that have not been neglected in the double of occupation and nurturing”, “Whistle birds looking for cuckoo cubs in genetic resemblance”, It is a “Spokesperson for single daddies living in hiding”.
