Abstract
In today's globalized world, there is a tendency of losing historical experience and historical memory and preserving ethnic, cultural and linguistic diversity. The issues of preserving the authenticity of cultures and languages of ethnic groups of Russia are increasingly important for the further development of Russia as a federative state with its multinational people united by a common history. The article describes the role of preschool educational institutions in the process of ethno-cultural education of next generations.
