Abstract

The paper covers the issue of socialization of the Russian youth in modern informative and informational society. Modern youth is immersed in the medium of computer and web technologies. There for social institutions need to react to new challenges of modern social environment. The rationality and efficiency of its functioning affects the level of risk in new socialization conditions for young people. The presented content analysis investigates popular youth mega-resources of a computer-interactive social system - YouTube, VKontakte and Steam. The analysis of the mega-resources and its sub-resources (channels, communities, video games) for inheritance to Russian formal social institutions and its agents make it possible to identify a number of trends in the status and efficiency of formal social institutions in the socialization of Russian youth, as well as to detect youth socialization risks. The author intends that the methodology would be effective in social analytics and forecasting, and the identified problems would help to design practical measures in order to reduce the socialization risk for young people in modern society.

Для выявления топовых ресурсов было использовано 4 электронных базы данных (Socialblade, 2021; Br-analytics, 2021; Whatstat, 2021; Tuberank, 2021), на основе чего сформированы 16 таблиц с различными вариациями топ-20 каналов YouTube российского сегмента.
