Abstract

The article will focus on the role of the lesson "Literary reading", in general, literature in the upbringing and education of the student, as well as the positive and negative consequences that the era of globalization has had on human society. In particular, it describes the possibilities of bringing a young reader out of a spiritual crisis by opposing Kyrgyz culture, history, literature, ethnopedagogy, national traditions to the “attacks” of such a civilization, denying the models of globalization adopted under socialism in human actions, characters, ideals. Under these conditions, the creation of an education model aimed at cultural development, the education of the reader, the development of his strategy in accordance with modern requirements, makes it possible to return the child to the world of books. Some literature is analyzed in this direction.
