Abstract

. In the current situation of restrictions imposed on the Russian Federation by unfriendly countries, export-oriented Russian companies face new challenges, which consist in finding new export markets and buyers in friendly countries, solving problems with international settlements and building new logistics routes. Now the improvement of existing and the development of new measures of support and protectionism, developed by the Government of the Russian Federation and implemented by the Russian Export Center – the federal institution for the development of non-resource non-energy exports, comes to the first place and have very important role. The article examines the current export strategies of companies in the North-West region in the current conditions, as well as government support measures to enter foreign markets and search for potential buyers abroad. The authors pay special attention to the main instruments of protectionism and protection of the interests of Russian exporters.
