Abstract

Relevance and goals. The relevance of the work is due to the fact that the use of traditional employee motiva-tion tools is becoming less effective. The aim of the article is to analyze the impact of innovation-oriented ap-proach to employee motivation on the company’s competitiveness. Materials and methods. Approaches to the definition of innovation-oriented motivation and employee satisfaction were considered by E.A. Turysova, V.V. Voschilo, V. Kurdi, J. Walter, S. Juba, etc.; the results of the author’s sociological research using the method of questionnaire survey of managers of Moscow enterprises (n = 355) are also presented. Results. The attitude of the heads of Moscow enterprises to the innovation-oriented labor motivation is determined. Conclusions. There is no unified position among the heads of enterprises regarding the concept of innovation-oriented labor moti-vation. More than a third of respondents have a neutral attitude to the phenomenon under study, while in gen-eral the attitude is rather positive.
