Abstract

The article deals with the scientific and methodological aspects of the preparation of future biology teachers in higher educational establishments, analyzes the psychological and pedagogical conditions of students' learning in the line of competence and activity approach, clarifies the contribution of individual scientists to the methodological training of future biology teachers. The modern orientation of education to the formation of competences implies the creation of didactic and psychological conditions in which the student can show not only intellectual and cognitive activity, but also personal social position, his personality, to express himself as a subject of learning. That is why for the organization of successful educational activity of students it is necessary to choose such forms and methods of work that would arouse interest and desire to learn new. In the preparation of future specialists in front of university teachers there is a need to form the key and subject competences of students by means of educational material in the subject. The formation of subject-matter competence in the teaching of biology is closely linked to the method of biological experiment. Vocational training of future biology teachers is being modernized and oriented to the formation of professional competencies, which allows students to show intellectual and cognitive activity, personal social position, their personality, express themselves as a subject of study. The formation of knowledge of the purpose, the basic tasks of biological education is achieved in the process of studying the biological sciences in the university, the function of which is the formation of students key competencies that modern life requires. For the complete formation and development of students' biological knowledge, it is necessary to purposefully and persistently use active and interactive forms and technologies of the organization of study of biological sciences.
