Methods: the methodological framework for the study is a combination of the following methods of scientific knowledge: the hermeneutical method, the method of systematicity, and the method of analysis. Results: the author has identified the errors that can be made during the use of “smart legal regulation” methods. Conclusions: a feature of such a method of “smart legal regulation” as a legal experiment is point-based legal regulation.
