Abstract
The article deals with the results of a linguoculturological study on one of the paremiological models, represented by the proverbs of the Russian and Swedish languages. A thematic classification of proverbs built on the model “the… the…” in two languages is represented; the authors reveal types of verbalized correlations, native speakers’ value priorities and cultural attitudes. As a result of the study, conclusions were drawn about the similarities and differences in the analyzed fragment of the paremiological space in two languages.
