Abstract

In the article, the author reveals his own understanding of the concepts of "potential" and "creative potential", defines the structure of creative potential on the basis ofinterpretation of dictionaries and interpretations of scientists who were engaged in problems of personal creativity. At the same time, attention is paid to the fact that thecomponents of the structure of creative potential are due to age-specific features of a person. Accordingly, this should be taken into account in the disclosure andimplementation of the creative reserves of pupils of junior school age. The author supports the idea of the scholars who believe that the internal resources of the individual are manifested through activity. Therefore, the work of junior pupils, in his opinion, is a fruitful field for discovering the creative potential of elementary school students. But this process may be activated by the creation of certain pedagogical conditions. The author points out the following conditions: the organization of a friendly and dialogical work environment, the development of individual-collective routes of creativity and the use of situations stimulating prediction in labor training in elementary schools of general education. The mentioned pedagogical conditions operate in their dialectical relationship. Creating a friendly-dialectical environment opens up the spiritual treasures of junior schoolchildren, forming a desire to seek something new; the development of individual collective routes frees the creative forces of the child, directing them in a certain direction; and the use of situations stimulating prediction directs the creativity of elementary school students to further perspectives of children's creativity, expanding the horizons of fantasy.
