Abstract

The article examines the recent strengthening of Kyrgyz-Chinese ties, that may be seen in a number of infrastructure projects within “One Belt, One Road” project. There are a number of accompanying difficulties that are offset by the further possibilities of cooperation (increasing trade turnover, turning Bishkek into an online trading hub, transferring excess Chinese capacity to the territory of Kyrgyzstan).
