Abstract

The article presents a methodology for developing foreign language communicative competence of school-children in senior grades of secondary schools based on blended learning technology. The relevance of the study is determined by the special role of digital and media resources in improving the quality of teaching for-eign languages. The methodology is implemented on the basis of competence-based, communicative-cognitive and integrative approaches to teaching foreign languages to high school students. The article de-scribes the methodical system of interrelated teaching of all types of speech activity on the basis of the author's textbook using authentic materials and modern information technologies at foreign language lessons, which contribute to the increase of motivation, efficiency and individualization of the educational process of forming foreign language communicative competence of schoolchildren. The methodology is aimed at developing self-discipline, perseverance and motivation in students in order to achieve good results in the studied language.
