Abstract

The aim of the study is to achieve the understanding of Abram Terts’s narrative strategies, which allow qualifying the features of “tertiary” socialist realism. Among the tasks is an analysis of the intertextual layers of Terts-Sinyavsky’s article. The scientific novelty lies in the originality of the research perspective - in identifying the degree of objectivity and measure of scientific character of the interpretations of the Russian classics and literature of socialist realism proposed by the phantom author. The obtained results have shown that Terts-Sinyavsky’s approaches are deliberately biased and based on the principle of inversion, when the axiological nature of critical assessments is based on the so-called “shifters”, de-hierarchization of benefits and drawbacks. The paper shows that Terts’s essay served as a platform for the aesthetics of postmodernity, post-realism, post-post-realism literature.
