Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to identify the influence of the Korean War on the Protestant Church of Korea and to suggest its tasks for Peace Mission. The methodology of the thesis is the literature survey and the dangerous memory and the victim as the subject of history by J. B. Metz. The results of the study suggest that the peace mission of the Protestant Church of Korea are: confession of sins, conversion, reconciliation between the South Korea and North Korea through healing the memory of the Korean War, the probe of civilian massacre during the Korean War, the Jubilee movement and the decade for peace of the Korean Peninsula, the national koinonia and the economy of God, the peace education, and the theology of peace and theology of peace mission.
