Abstract
The purpose of the article is to consider the existing risks of socio-economic security in the archival industry and to propose a mechanism for identifying and preventing risks. The mechanism is based on the use of author’s methods for analyzing the state of socio-economic security, for the formation of indicators and their threshold values, as well as for the prevention and elimination of risks on the example of the Kirov region. The main results of the study are the data obtained on the state of the archival industry in the Kirov region, the existing risks of socio-economic security in this area, the mechanism for identifying and preventing risks. The proposed mechanism can be applied in the activities of state authorities, as well as in the work of state and municipal archives.
