Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is an important biochemical enzyme involved in many physiological and pathological processes occurring in the body (embryogenesis, osteogenesis, digestion, cholestasis, oncogenesis, etc.) Knowledge of the role of this enzyme in human ontogenesis allows us to judge the normal or pathological development of the body.
