Abstract

The article opens forms and methods of primary school students’ vocal and choral education in Ukraine. The analysis of musical and educating process in our country reveals to singings' dominance as a leading type of musical activity, the existence of foundations for the further development of national traditions of vocal and choral education of different ages children. Just the young generations’ interest to Ukrainian national art, the performance the best examples of folklore promotes to the provision of musical and educational and personal child’s development, the realization his creative potential. It offers the approach to organization of the process of involvement children to historical heritage of mankind and national culture. It considers the role and the opportunities of the extracurricular artistic and aesthetic activity in in the deepening and differentiation of students’ artistic knowledge and skills which based on co-creation and mutual respect. The article reveals the main vectors of extracurricular activities of the art cycle involving novelty techniques and methods. It defines the ways of students’ aesthetic education by the examples of Ukrainian folk music in the process of acquisition and improvement of vocal and choral skills that affects the successful solution of the problem. The author offers the organization and pedagogical methods of thorough mastering of artistic knowledge assisting personal creative search in the direction of vocal and choral activity in the context of Ukrainian national traditions. For successful reaching these goals it need to develop first of all social and cultural awareness, curiosity, adaptability and communication. It improve students' ability to assess, obtain and apply knowledge, to think independently, to make proper judgments and to collaborate with others in the context of analyzing new challenges of the future. The substantive aspects of vocal and choral personality education in the works of modern composers of Ukraine, which open new horizons for world perception and world understanding of our present, require further consideration.
