Abstract
the article presents the results of an analysis of a set of issues related to identifying promising areas for investing public funds within the framework of the Federal Project “Artificial Intelligence”. Global indicators of investment activity in the artificial intelligence technology sector are analyzed. The economic characteristics of promising areas for the application of artificial intelligence technologies in Russia have been determined.
