Abstract

The spigelian hernia is a rare pathology in pediatric practice. The analysis of all available publications has been carried out since the first description of this disease in children, the features of its clinical picture, diagnostic criteria and surgical tactics have been determined. The inclusion of the spigelian hernia in the list of diagnoses that must be excluded in case of recurrent abdominal pain will allow timely detection of this disease in children, timely surgical care, reduce the number of complications and improve the quality of life.
