Abstract

This study is meaningful as a study to expand the new social participation of middle-aged women and prepare for better old age at the turning point of life by exploring the impact of middle-aged female participants" involvement in community dance on social contraction and successful aging. In September 2019, data obtained from a survey of middle-aged women in their 40s to 60s were statistically processed using SPSS v.25.<BR> As a result of this study, first, community dance involvement has been shown to have a negative impact on social contraction. Second, community dance involvement has been shown to have a positive effect on successful aging. Third, social contraction has been shown to have a negative impact on successful aging. It is necessary to understand the social contraction of middle-aged women due to changes in the times, and at the same time, community dance will help them maintain a healthy life and a high quality of life as a way for the successful aging of middle-aged women.
