Abstract

The article examines A. N. Scriabin’s reworking of his own poetic text for "Preliminary Action". Analysis of the changes allows the conclusion that the composer aimed for a more definite delineation of the plot and storyline, the organization of the character system, the highlighting of the narrator’s voice, and the synthesis of plot lines.
