Abstract
The main methods of testing electrical machines are considered. It has been determined that the tradi-tional method of implementing the load moment has significant limitations. It is proposed to use an electromagnetic brake based on a hysteresis machine. This method of organizing the load torque is universal and can be used to test machines of different power and rotation speed
