Социальное влияние ислама: ретроспектива и современное состояние (на примере Северного Кавказа)

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the social influence of Islam as a complex socio-cultural complex in the North Caucasus region. The methodological basis of the study is the historical and the sociological approach combined with such methods as critical analysis, comparison. Result of the study. The author identifies concrete examples of the expression of the social influence of Islam on the social structure, traditions, and customs of the population of the North Caucasus at different historical stages; designates the division of the region into western and eastern parts according to the degree of influence of Islam in this aspect. Prospects of the study. The study of the social impact of Islam in the North Caucasus is an important area of research from the point of view of analyzing and predicting the development of the socio-political, religious situation in the region, the harmonization of intercultural relations, and the maintenance of civil peace.
