Abstract
The analysis of referential functions of pronouns in the Ukrainian language, at first sight, seems a well-studied and tired theme. However, exophoric reference, despite its regular use, has been studied occasionally, and, we believe, quite superficially, because the researchers have rarely taken into account the specificity of the discourse the pronoun is used in.
