Abstract
The article provides an assessment of water resources on the territory of the Arkhangelsk region. The hydro-energy resources of large, medium and small rivers are determined. The characteristics of previously existing collective-farm and state-farm hydroelectric power plants are shown. Some design options for the construction of new small hydroelectric power plants in the region and their economic parameters, are considered.
