Abstract

The article deals with the problem of the ability of foreign Master’s Degree students to perform authentic works being significantly differ in style, intonational composition, language of verbal and poetic text, performing traditions from the own national style. The essence of the following concepts is defined: national style, interpretation’s authenticity, national, foreign national, international and non-national art. The author presents different aspects of stylistic diversity in the vocal performing arts of different nations and varying cultures. It provides insight into the role of correlation between the verbal poetic and vocal-intonational components of a whole musical image, the significance of the identity of work’s original language and the performing language in relation of reproduction of its artistic and emotional ambience, the nature of the musical character and images’ structure. The importance of work’s performing in the original language is proved, due to the significance of such structural and expressive components as aleatoric-phonetic, intonational-phraseological, conceptual-semantic, their significance for the authentic performing interpretation of the artistic image and the complex influence on the listeners’ perception. The special focus is on the culture of pronunciation of foreign-language texts, the regularity of vocal orthoepy to be followed by the singer in the performance of vocal works written in different languages. The main principles and methods of improving the vocal pronunciation of foreign language texts are described, and the main stages of work on a foreign-language text during its preparation for performance are presented.
