Abstract

This study directly experimented and analyzed the effect of the elastic band exercise program on the restoration of the movement function, that is, "balance", of ballet students with ankle instability, and is valuable in that it provides efficient exercise methods for ballet dancers who do not have enough time to rehabilitate. First, through the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool(CAIT) evaluation, after measuring the body composition of ballet dancers with ankle instability, it was divided into two groups: IG(Injury Group) and IGB(Injury Group Band) and applied three times a week and 40minutes of elastic band exercise program before and after treatment. The results of the study showed that ballet dancers in the group(IGB) who performed an eight-week elastic band exercise program strengthened muscle function and body balance around their ankles.
