Abstract

The article analyzes topical issues of current trends in the development of international cooperation, economic partnership against the background of the new industrial revolution for the socio-economic development of the BRICS countries. Considerable attention is paid to the BRICS Economic Partnership Strategy until 2025, prepared by the Russian side for the XI BRICS Summit with the aim of putting the member states on the trajectory of sustainable and balanced socio-economic growth. The idea of the need for an active response to the emerging global challenges, including macroeconomic and financial instability, is substantiated. The conclusion is reasoned that the BRICS countries are able to form a positive, adapted and clear economic agenda for expanding cooperation in the joint fight against large multinational corporations that violate competition rules, as well as those that have gained a dominant position in the world market.
