Abstract
This paper provides an overview of the Macedonian scientific and professional terminology macro project – the oldest project of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The 50th anniversary of the macro project should mark the shift of the project’s activities towards electronic lexicography. In this stage, corpus linguistics will be used for drafting electronic terminological databases that will be available online for the users. Specialized corpora should be the starting point and they will be very useful to the terminologists for determining the most suitable terms that should be included in terminological dictionaries of a given domain.
