Abstract
The prospects for the development of the personal potential of the student relate to the possibilities of personalised learning. The study identified key methodological approaches in understanding the process of personalisation of learning. On the basis of analysis of domestic and foreign sources, the main consequences of wide distribution and increasing influence on the person of digital personalisation tools have been determined. In education, they can become an insurmountable obstacle to the development of students' personal potential. The concepts of “wall of filters” and “information bubbles” are considered in order to determine the causes of shortage of creative resources of the person in a competitive digital environment. The development of a personalised learning model must take into account the potential dangers of Internet technology. The author focuses on the emerging anthropological threats in the digital environment to the development of the creative potential of the individual. The conclusions were confirmed by the results of sociological research. The importance of finding solutions to minimise and overcome risks of digital bases of personalisation was emphasised.
