Abstract
The article explores the significance of soft skills for the professional activities of employees of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine. It examines key components such as communication skills, emotional intelligence, and stress resistance, which are essential for effective work in high-stress environments and complex interpersonal interactions. The author emphasize the importance of developing these skills to ensure safety, reduce conflicts, and maintain high levels of professionalism. The article highlights the need for investment in training and development of soft skills to enhance the efficiency of the service and improve the atmosphere in correctional facilities.
