Abstract
Article is devoted to a question of determination of moisture content in the solid insulation of the transformer on the basis of the moisture content in oil. It is shown how moisture content influences solid insulation of the transformer, the mechanical durability, speed of temperature aging of windings of the transformer and decrease in electric durability of isolation. On the basis of the data on moisture content obtained at control it is possible to predict a residual resource of isolation on dynamics of change of moisture content in oil: further operation of the transformer or need of its repair.
