Abstract

Using the linguo-axiological approach the article analyses the verbal behaviour of the Russian fairy-tale character’s linguistic personality with a view to identify value attitude towards communicants. The authors focus their attention on interpreting the fairy-tale character’s propositions. In particular, the paper identifies and analyses the linguistic peculiarities of manifesting truly positive/negative attitude towards a communicant at the lexical and grammatical levels and at the level of intentions realized in the character’s speech by emotionally marked imperative statements.
