Abstract

The system of mortgage housing lending is one of the main mechanisms that allow citizens with medium and low incomes to purchase their own housing. Currently, the housing mortgage lending system operates in difficult socio-economic conditions due to the long-term sanctions regime and the COVID-19 pandemic. In this regard, state support programs for housing mortgage lending expand the opportunities and accessibility of obtaining mortgage loans for certain categories of citizens. The article examines the main measures of state support for mortgage housing lending in modern conditions, assesses their effectiveness, identifies problems and suggests possible ways to solve them.
